As I mentioned yesterday, I finally updated my website's homepage! ⁠

Honestly, it was long overdue, but it wasn't always clear to me. ⁠
⁠
Over the last few years, I've put out a few collections that signal this change. ⁠
⁠
First, I released Forget Me Not Collection - in 2020! This was a sugar skull-themed collection. ⁠
⁠
Then it was my Mexican-Style Jewelry Collection - a collection inspired by Frida Kahlo's love for bold colors, hoop earrings, and gemstones. ⁠
⁠
Both collections were important and personal to me, and they provided me with so much inspiration and fulfillment.⁠
⁠
A lot of it also had to do with you guys. You seemed to embrace these collections - more than my other collections - and that was wonderful. ⁠
⁠
Admittedly, I haven't put out as many collections as I'd hoped, and I think it's because I've been in a bit of a creative slump. ⁠
⁠
Or so I thought. ⁠
⁠
The truth is, like most creatives, I work on my craft daily when I'm not working on the business side of things.⁠
⁠
I do it for me, both to have fun and with the hope of getting to my next collection - a collection that I want to find both beautiful and inspiring in its story. ⁠

Somehow, I always come back to sugar skulls, bold colors, pearls, and stories that honor my Hispanic Heritage. ⁠

It feels so good to come to this realization and finally have it at the forefront of my website. ⁠
