Review of A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall
I hope you’ve all been well. Penny and I have been trying to cure her little eye ulcer and so far we’ve been quite successful. In case you’re interested in learning more about such an illness, this article really helped.
Anyway, I’ve managed to finally edit this video successfully. I switched over from Sony Vegas Movie Studio to Cyberlink Director, which is much faster at producing, and am incredibly pleased. Didn’t think I’d love the transition as much as I do, which I think warrants a future post. Let me know if that’d be something of interest.
In this video I review A Little Something Different by Sandy Hall—a love story told from 14 different points of view. Overall I give it an A- considering that when I picked it up all I wanted was a fun light hearted love story. I’ve read reviews that criticize it for having too many “pointless” characters, but honestly—that was the draw for me. I knew after reading the blurb that it had a squire as a character and also a bus driver, and while they seemingly don’t have anything to do with the main characters, they are both endearing and sweet and I think they add to the story in their own way—that’s just my opinion. Have your read this book? What did you think of it? Did you have a favorite character?
